Information technology revolution has brought many changes to mankind. As the world progresses into the age of information, countries are faced with immense challenges. Information Technology is to manage information with the use of computers and software. It is composed of a number of topics and subject matter that has been developed over the past few decades. Information technology dissertation requires quality information from sources which demonstrate the solid knowledge of information technology. The quality of information technology dissertation is not limited to innate knowledge or the learning of text book but it also represents the quality of your writing. Your successful information technology dissertation requires an excellent writing. Your information technology dissertation must be composed of in-text citations form productive sources. The IT dissertation needs a very good planning as it is the most difficult topic to write with. To write an IT dissertation requires much hard work and efforts for getting scoring results. The stages of dissertation writing are
- Selection of an initial topic: You must select that topic on which you feel strongly about. It decides the format as well as the style of the document. The selection of right dissertation topic should not be put of to the last minute. It will only lead to regret. Let us take one example: my topic is “Rise of I.T. in the developing countries”.
- Drafting of initial topics: At this stage you have jot down all points on the paper whichever comes to your mind so that while writing the dissertation you can use them when needed. If the topic is about system analysis then analytical thinking is needed. But if the topic is about software development then planning is needed utmost. For this topic, I must write down about the importance, objectives, use of I.T. in the developing countries.
- Researching of contents: At this step you have to search various articles and literature related to information technology to collect facts about your topic. I can take help of magazines, journals but at last I have to write my own view.
- Learning about subject area: Collect all the information needed in your subject area so that you can explore it more.
- Structuring the content: Here the collected and written material is arranged in order to provide it some meaning.
- Divisions of related chapters: At this stage, you can divide the chapters to be written in dissertation on the basis of the contents it includes.
- Justification your thoughts: You must justify the thoughts which are put up by you in the beginning.
- References: These are the list of the source which you have used up in writing your dissertation.
